He has recently been appointed as the Managing Director of Dr. DSP Aqua Remedies, a significant responsibility that reflects his expertise and experience in the industry.

Dr. DSP holds a Post Graduate degree in Marine Biotechnology, which serves as the foundation for his specialization in the aquatic realm. He pursued further academic excellence and earned a professional qualification of M. Phil in the assessment of Vannamei shrimp post-larvae in hatcheries. This expertise indicates his knowledge in managing and evaluating the early stages of shrimp development, which is crucial for successful aquaculture practices.

His doctorate focused on critical areas in shrimp aquaculture, specifically Bacterial abundance in hatcheries and Water Quality parameters in culture ponds. Understanding bacterial populations in hatcheries is essential for disease prevention and promoting healthy shrimp growth. Likewise, monitoring water quality parameters is crucial for maintaining optimal conditions in culture ponds, ensuring the well-being and growth of shrimp populations.

In addition to his doctorate, Dr. DSP conducted research on Monodon Slow Growth Syndrome (MSGS) in Penaeus Monodon, an economically significant shrimp species. His work in this area has likely contributed to understanding the factors influencing slow growth in this species and may have implications for improving shrimp farming practices.

He is the Founder President of Great Indian Aqua (GIA), a non-profit organization committed to supporting the aquaculture community. Apart from his responsibilities as Managing Director and his work with GIA, Dr. DSP also serves as a member of the Board of Studies at the Department of Aquaculture, Acharya Nagarjuna University.
